Traffic Calming Effects In East Vancouver

Speak Up for Your East Vancouver Community

Speak Up for Your East Vancouver Community
Silence is no longer an option; indifference is no longer a luxury. The rally against traffic calming in East Vancouver is gaining momentum - but it cannot succeed if our community members do not continue to speak out. We must push past the polite dismissals of policymakers and instead demand change.

Join us to make a difference.

On October 7th residents of East Vancouver are invited to share their experiences. A meeting will be held at the Greek Community Hall (4541 Boundary Road), providing the chance to connect with those impacted by traffic calming. This opportunity ensures that you and your neighbours can fully understand the effects of concrete barriers, endless reroutes, and lost parking spaces - and you can learn how to best fight against these measures. From 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, we will offer discussions on the latest efforts to have the barricades removed and outline new strategies for building our cause.

Public outcry is (finally) being heard - as proven by our Change.org petition. Almost 3,000 community members have signed, and the number grows daily. Let's continue to build this momentum by coming together at the Greek Community Center tomorrow.

These are our streets. Let's reclaim them.
