Support the campaign
This is a resident campaign. There are no salaries and no staff, and the work is done by neighbours in their own time.
But getting the message out has real costs. Printing and distributing flyers. Travel to get them onto doorsteps. Advertising to reach people who have not seen one. And the technology that runs the website, the mailing list and the tools behind them.
Those are hard costs, and they are what your donation pays for.
Every dollar goes to hard costs. Here is the whole list.
Most people give between ten and fifty dollars. A flyer drop across a few blocks costs a few hundred, so small amounts genuinely add up.
Donations are processed by Zeffy, which passes the full amount on. Zeffy will offer you the option of tipping them separately. That is their ask, not ours, and you can set it to zero.
Funds are held in a corporate account operated on behalf of the campaign and used only for the costs listed above.
That is completely fine, and there are things worth more than a donation.
Write to Mayor and Council. Ten minutes, and a letter from someone on an affected street carries more weight than a signature.
Tell us what changed on your street. We publish resident accounts with permission, and they are the strongest evidence we have.
Join the mailing list, and tell a neighbour. Numbers are what the City counts.
Being straight with you. We are a group of residents, not a registered charity. Donations are not tax deductible and we cannot issue receipts.
We are not affiliated with any political party, and we do not donate to candidates or parties.
If you have a question about how money is being spent, ask us. removethebarriers2026@gmail.com
Whether you give or not, the campaign exists because neighbours have spent their own evenings on it. That is worth more than any of this.
