Who decides the fate of the streets—and who has to live with the consequences?
On September 5 The Way We Move brings transportation planners and policymakers together at SFU Harbour Centre. The purpose of this conference is to map the future of Vancouver's roadway infrastructure, as well as allow residents to voice their concerns —and we want to ensure this happens.
Frustrated by forced turns and barricades? Overwhelmed by road closures and new routes? It's time to speak up. Join us at The Way We Move event and demand answers for traffic calming policies that undermine Vancouver's streets. The conference will feature representatives from TransLink, HandyDART, and other leading organizations - and we can take the chance to directly confront them with the truth of full-closure measures.
Bring your questions. Bring your experiences. Bring the evidence.
The conference begins September 5 (9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.) at SFU Harbour Centre, with tickets starting at $10. Join us and help decide the future of Vancouver's streets.
